Exhibition work bee imminent

We need all hands willing to get dirty to get our lovely Barracks ready for the Slow Summer exhibition. So get ready to put some time away from your personal schedule for the benefit of the creatives.

I will send an email with the nitty gritty details, but overall we need the usual jobs done: mowing and cleaning on the outside of the building, taking down of all art on our walls now, dusting, cleaning of all toilets and basins, coordination of opening night, images of art for Slow Summer flyer, team to hang new art, entering exhibition data, printing of exhibition labels, chopping to size and placing labels near art, re-fresh of shop content etc.
Don't forget that if you're exhibiting your name is needed on the roster too :)

I will send specific details in a personal email to all you amazing, creative, talented humanoids :)

100km Art Show - Sustainability

some of our members joined the 100km Art Show at the Orange Regional Gallery, the theme being Sustainability. If you haven't been, do make the effort, it's open until 2 February and really showcases some of the amazing talent we have out here :)

Quick 2014 update

Hi y'all :)
Just a quick note about the Slow Summer - 150 years of Banjo Paterson festival which starts 7 February and ends 17 February 2014:
Please gather the art you want to exhibit and start bringing it in from next Monday 27 January, last day to bring it is Sunday 2 February.

I will make a more thorough post this afternoon regarding your chance to help with getting our Barracks ready and the rostering. Right now el Presidente and moi are going to the Barracks to deliver some tables for Joy's workshop.
